The SR16200 is a simple design using only the best available materials.
Solid extruded aluminum terminals, extruded aluminum blades, stainless steel pivot shaft, extruded aluminium pivot housing.
All parts are fabricated from extruded aluminum or machined from solid billet materials, such as 304 stainless steel and hard drawn copper.

Key features of our SR16200 Center Side Break Switch
Made with a hot‑dip galvanized steel base featuring field‑adjustable mounting provisions, ensuring strong structural support and installation flexibility.
Equipped with maintenance‑free dry‑lubricant bearings and non‑magnetic hardware in all live parts, supporting smooth and dependable operation over time.
Current‑carrying components use high‑conductivity extruded aluminum, while the contacts are silver‑plated hard‑drawn copper, with optional silver‑inlaid contacts for enhanced durability.
All current transfers are done by EMSPEC’s well-proven contact system with multiple spring-loaded fingers. The same contacts are used at the jaw and hinges. These contact components are also used on our folding vertical break and semi-pantograph switches. The blades are made of high-conductivity heat-treated extruded aluminum.
The SR16200 is available in Vee configuration.
